What are the differences between the NKM2E series and ordinary MCCB?

The NKM2E series molded case circuit breakers are electronic circuit breakers, which differ from regular molded case circuit breakers in that they have additional electronic functions and smart features. Regular molded case circuit breakers are typically traditional mechanical circuit breakers with relatively basic functions. Here are the main differences between them:
The NKM2E series is equipped with electronic components that can monitor parameters such as current, voltage, power factor, etc. It can continuously monitor the status of the circuit, automatically identify faults, and take actions such as disconnecting the current or providing alert information. Regular molded case circuit breakers are usually mechanical and operate based on electromagnetic principles, primarily used to interrupt the current in a circuit to prevent overloads and short circuits. They typically lack electronic monitoring and smart features.
Due to their electronic components, the NKM2E series can provide more precise circuit protection and can be programmed and adjusted to meet specific application requirements. Regular molded case circuit breakers typically have standard settings, and their protection characteristics are usually not adjustable or customizable.
