The parallel groove clamp is used for connecting aluminum stranded wires with medium and small cross-sections, as well as steel core aluminum stranded wires, and steel-stranded wires for overhead lightning protection lines at locations without tension. It is also used for jumper connections on non-linear pylons. Electrical engineering materials (hardware) are used to connect conductors to each other, primarily in power line construction.
